MINUTES

Representative Jennifer Schultz, Chair of the Committee, called the meeting to order at 12:45pm on Monday, March 2nd, 2019 in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

Representative Klevorn moved that the minutes from February 24th, 2020 be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF3359 (Moller) - Consumer-directed community support existing session law codified.

Chair Schultz moved to re-refer HF3359 to the Committee on Health and Human Services Policy without recommendation. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF3557 (Masin) - Nursing facility setting prohibition from receiving medical education and research cost funding removed.

Representative Masin moved that HF3557 be recommended for placement on the General Register.

Representative Masin moved to adopt the A-1 Amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF3236 (Lippert) – Nursing home energy efficiency grant program established, and money appropriated.

Representative Lippert moved that HF3236 be recommended for re-referral to the Energy and Climate Finance and Policy Division.

HF2153 (Schultz) – Elderly waiver payment rates modified, and report required.

Chair Schultz moved that HF2153 be recommended for re-referral to the Committee on Health and Human Services Finance.

Chair Schultz moved to adopt the DE-2 Amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
