MINUTES

Representative Bernardy, Chair of the Higher Education Finance & Policy Division, called the meeting to order at 2:35 P.M. on March 19, 2019, in Room 10 of the State Office Building. A quorum was present.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Bernardy called the meeting to order at 2:35 P.M.

Representative Vang moved to approve the minutes from March 13, 2019. THE MOTION PREVAILS.

HF 2363 (Moller) Education debt relief grant funding provided, and money appropriated.

Representative Pryor moved that HF 2363 be laid over for possible inclusion in an Omnibus Bill.

Testifying:
-Heather Vlieger – Director, Loan Repayment Assistance Program of Minnesota
-Lars Markeson – Mid-Minnesota Legal Aid

Representative Pryor renewed her motion that HF 2363 be laid over for possible inclusion in an Omnibus Bill.

HF 993 (Pryor) Workforce development scholarships modified, and money appropriated.

Representative Pryor moved that HF 993 be laid over for possible inclusion in an Omnibus Bill.

Representative Pryor renewed her motion that HF 993 be laid over for possible inclusion in an Omnibus Bill.
