MINUTES

Representative Bernardy, Chair of the Higher Education Finance & Policy Division, called the meeting to order at 2:32 P.M. on March 26, 2019, in Room 10 of the State Office Building. A quorum was present.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

The Office of Higher Education gave a presentation on the updated version of the Governor’s budget request.

Representative Vang moved the minutes from March 20, 2019 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILS.

HF 603 (Claflin) – University of Minnesota requested to conduct a review of research related to exposure to pre-and polyfluoralkyl substances, report required, and money appropriated.

Representative Bernardy moved HF 603 be referred to Ways & Means.

Representative Bernardy renewed the motion that HF 603 be referred to Ways & Means. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

The committee was adjourned at 3:49 P.M.
