MINUTES


Representative Lesch, Chair of the Judiciary Finance and Civil Law Division Committee, called the meeting to order at 9:45am on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 in Room 10 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Lesch began the meeting at 9:45 A.M. A quorum was present.

Representative Scott moved the minutes from January 31, 2019 for approval. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 298 (Lien) a bill for an act relating to guardians; amending the background study requirements for parents of proposed wards.

Representative Lien presented HF 298 to the committee.

HF 298 was laid over for possible inclusion in Judiciary Finance and Civil Law Division Omnibus Bill.

HF 561 (Lesch) a bill for an act relating to paternity; modifying the statute of limitations for nonpaternity actions; providing procedures for actions to declare nonpaternity.

Chair Lesch presented HF 561 to the committee.

HF 561 was laid over for possible inclusion in Civil Law Omnibus Policy bill.

HF 361 (Liebling) a bill for an act relating to government data practices; expanding the scope of the rideshare and transit customer data classifications.

Chair Lesch moved the HF 361 DE1 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Liebling presented HF 361 DE1 to the committee.
