JUDICIARY FINANCE AND CIVIL LAW DIVISION COMMITTEE
MINUTES
Representative Lesch, Chair of the Judiciary Finance and Civil Law Division Committee, called the meeting to order at 9:45am on Thursday, February 21, 2019 in Room 10 of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Lesch began the meeting at 9:45 A.M. A quorum was present.
Representative Noor moved the minutes from February 20, 2019 for approval. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
Tax court budget presentation began.
Judge Delapena, Chief Judge of the Tax Court
HF 861 (Hansen) Minnesota Licensing and Registration System (MNLARS) and Driver and Vehicle Services funding provided, report required, and money appropriated.
Representative Cantrell moved HF 861 to be re-referred to the Ways and Means Committee
Representative Hansen presented HF 861 to the committee.
Chair Lesch moved an oral amendment “On page 3, line 3.22, strike “Immunity” and insert “Settlement”. THE ORAL ADMENDMENT WAS INCORPORATED.

Representative Cantrell renewed his motion to re-refer HF 861, as amended, to the Ways and Means Committee. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
HF 1065 (Lesch) Revisor's bill; miscellaneous technical corrections made; erroneous, obsolete, and omitted text and references corrected; and redundant, conflicting, and superseded provisions removed.
Representative Lesch motioned for HF 1065 to be placed on the General Register.
Representative Lesch presented HF 1065 to the committee.
