MINUTES
Representative Lesch, Chair of the Judiciary Finance and Civil Law Division Committee, called the meeting to order at 9:50am on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 in Room 10 of the State Office Building.

Representative Lesch began the meeting at 9:50 A.M. A quorum was present.
Representative Scott moved the minutes from February 26, 2019 for approval. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
Uniform Laws Commission budget presentation began.
Michele Timmons, Uniform Law Commissioner and former Revisor of Statutes
HF 90 (Schultz) Assisted living resident consumer protections established, assisted living establishment license established, criminal penalties provided, rulemaking authority granted, maltreatment report processing and enforcement provisions added, and reports required.
Representative Lesch moved to recommend HF 90 be re-referred to the Government Operations Committee.
Representative Liebling moved the HF 90 A5 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
Representative Liebling moved the HF 90 A9 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
Representative Schultz presented HF 90 to the committee.
