MINUTES
Representative Lesch, Chair of the Judiciary Finance and Civil Law Division Committee, called the meeting to order at 9:49 a.m. on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 in Room 10 of the State Office Building.

Representative Lesch began the meeting at 9:29 a.m. A quorum was present.
Representative Noor moved the minutes from March 11, 2019 for approval. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
HF 5 (Halverson) Paid family, pregnancy, bonding, and applicant's serious medical condition benefits provided; employment leaves regulated and required; data classified; rulemaking authorized; and money appropriated.
Representative Lesch moved that HF 5 be re-referred to the Ways and Means Committee.
Representative Her moved the A8 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
Representative Scott proposed an oral amendment “strike all portions of the A8 amendment not regarding appeal, with the exception of 11.7-11.14.” THE MOTION DID NOT PREVAIL.
