MINUTES
Representative Lesch, Chair of the Judiciary Finance and Civil Law Division Committee, called the meeting to order at 9:45 a.m. on Thursday, March 21, 2019 in Room 10 of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Lesch began the meeting at 9:45 a.m. A quorum was present.
Representative Hassan moved the minutes from March 20, 2019 for approval. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
HF 2018 (Tabke) Pari-mutuel Racing Commission licensing, reporting, and other regulatory provisions modified.
Representative Her moved to re-refer HF 2018 to the Ways and Means Committee.

Representative Carlson moved to recommend HF 1520 be re-referred to the Ways and Means Committee.
Representative Carlson moved the A1 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

HF 2065 (Davids) Service of garnishment 70-day period extended from date of service to 90 days for earnings, and amount of earnings subject to garnishment modified.
Representative Lesch recommended HF 2065 be recommended to be placed on the General Register.
Representative Lesch moved the A2 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Moller moved the DE1 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
