Representative Lesch, Chair of the Judiciary Finance and Civil Law Division, called the meeting to order at 9:47 AM on Tuesday, February 18, 2020 in Room 10 of the State Office Building.

Representative Cantrell moved to adopt the minutes from Feb. 13, 2020. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 3095 (Christensen): A bill for an act relating to health; removing race from data on certificates of marriage reported to the state registrar; requiring marriage license applications to be modified to conform with this change.

Chair Lesch moved that HF 3095 be recommended to be re-referred to the HHS Policy committee. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Chair Lesch moved the DE1 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Christensen presented HF 3095 to the committee.

HF 3009 (Lesch): A bill for an act relating to public safety; regulating the use of unmanned aerial vehicles by law enforcement agencies; classifying data; amending Minnesota Statutes 2018, section 13.82, subdivision 15, by adding a subdivision; proposing coding for new law in Minnesota Statutes, chapter 626.

Representative Lesch moved that HF 3009 be placed on the General Register.

Representative Lesch moved the A1 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Lesch presented HF 3009 to the committee.

Representative Lesch moved that HF 3010 be placed on the General Register.
