Representative Moller, Vice Chair of the Judiciary Finance and Civil Law Division, called the meeting to order at 9:46 AM on March 10, 2020 in Room 10 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Considine moved to approve minutes from March 5, 2020. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 3397 (Dehn): A bill for an act relating to real property; clarifying ownership definitions; requiring the record owner to be listed as grantee in tax-forfeited land sales;

Chair Moller moved that HF 3397 be recommended to be re-referred to the Taxes Committee.

Representative Dehn presented HF 3397 to the committee.

HF 3627 (Kotyza-Witthuhn): A bill for an act relating to commerce; requiring notices for reverse mortgage loans

Chair Moller moved that HF 3627 be recommended to be placed on the General Register.

Chair Moller moved to adopt the A2 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Kotyza-Witthuhn presented HF 3627 to the committee.

Chair Moller moved that HF 3627, as amended, be recommended to be placed on the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Chair Lesch moved that HF 3780 be recommended to be re-referred to the HHS Policy Committee.

Representative Edelson presented HF 3780 to the committee.
