MINUTES

Representative Mariani, Chair of the Committee, called the virtual Public Safety and Criminal Justice Reform Finance and Policy Division meeting to order at 12:45 P.M. on April 30th, 2020. The meeting was broadcasted via Zoom and House Public Information Services. A quorum was present.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Christensen moved to approve the minutes for the April 23rd, 2020 meeting. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE MINUTES WERE ADOPTED.

HF 3156 (Mariani) Minnesota Sentencing Guidelines Commission funding provided, and money appropriated.

Chair Mariani presented HF3156.

Representative Pinto will not offer the A1 Amendment to the DE1 Amendment.

Representative Johnson moved to amend the DE1 Amendment with the A2 Amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
