MINUTES
Representative Nelson, Chair of the State Government Finance Committee, called the meeting to order at 8:02 AM, February 13, 2019 in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.
HF 228 (Urdahl); A bill for an act relating to capital investment; appropriating money for improvements at Historic Fort Snelling; authorizing the sale and issuance of state bonds.
Chairman Nelson moved to refer HF 228 to the Ways and Means Committee with the recommendation that it be re-referred to the Capital Investment Division.
Chairman Nelson moved to amend HF 228 with Amendment HF0228A1, modified Line 1.3 from “$13,000,000” to “$12,000,000” by the amendment’s author. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Chairman Nelson renewed the motion to refer HF 228, as amended, to the Ways and Means Committee with the recommendation that it be re-referred to the Capital Investment Division. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
