MINUTES
Representative Nelson, Chair of the State Government Finance Committee, called the meeting to order at 8:01 AM, February 26, 2019 in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Klevorn moved that the minutes from the committee meeting on February 21th, 2019 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
HF 1295 (Lillie); A bill for an act relating to amateur sports; dedicating certain sales tax collections to the Minnesota Amateur Sports Commission.
Chair Nelson moved that HF 1295 by re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means.

Chair Nelson renewed the motion that HF 1295 by re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
HF 541 (Lillie); A bill for an act relating to capital investment; appropriating money to the Minnesota Amateur Sports Commission for Mighty Ducks grants; authorizing the sale and issuance of bonds.
HF 956 (Koegel); A bill for an act relating to capital investment; appropriating money to the Minnesota Amateur Sports Commission for Mighty Ducks grants.
Chair Nelson moved that HF 541 be referred to the Committee on Ways and Means, with the recommendation that it be re-referred to the Capital Investment Division.
Chair Nelson moved that HF 956 be held over for possible inclusion in the Division Omnibus Bill.

Chair Nelson renewed the motion that HF 541 be referred to the Committee on Ways and Means, with the recommendation that it be re-referred to the Capital Investment Division. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
HF 956 was held over for possible inclusion in the Division Omnibus Bill.
HF 633 (Tabke); A bill for an act relating to horse racing; providing for ongoing operation of the Minnesota Racing Commission.
Chair Nelson moved that HF 633 be held over for possible inclusion in the Division Omnibus Bill.
Chair Nelson moved that the author’s amendment, H0633DE1 be adopted. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
