MINUTES
Representative Ginny Klevorn, Vice Chair of the State Government Finance Committee, called the meeting to order at 8:05 AM, February 18, 2020 in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Olson moved that the minutes from the committee meeting on April 11, 2019 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
Representative Olson moved that the minutes from the committee meeting on February 13, 2020 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
Representative Elkins moved that the minutes from the committee meeting on February 17, 2020 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
Chair Nelson assumed the gavel at 8:09 AM.
Chair Nelson moved HF354 be held over for possible inclusion in a supplemental appropriations bill.
HF354 (Carlson, L.); Appropriating money to public television and community radio for the Beyond Opioids Project.

Chair Nelson held HF354 for possible inclusion in a supplemental appropriations bill.
Chair Nelson moved HF1607 be rereferred to the Committee on Ways and Means, with a recommendation that it be referred to the Capital Investment Committee.
HF1607 (Claflin); Appropriating money for a velodrome.

Chair Nelson modified his motion and held HF1607 over for possible inclusion in a supplemental appropriations bill.
Representative Huot moved HF1740 be rereferred to the Committee on Ways and Means, with a recommendation that it be placed on the General Register.
Representative Huot moved Amendment H1740DE3. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
Representative Albright moved to orally amend Amendment H1740DE3 by deleting Line 2.24 through Line 3.7. Representative Albright withdrew his oral amendment.
HF1740 (Huot); Establishing a Capitol flag program for families of military service members and first responders who die in the line of duty.
