MINUTES

Representative Jim Davnie, Chair of the Education Finance Committee, called the virtual meeting to order at 10:30am on March 1, 2022 pursuant to House rule 10.01. The meeting was broadcasted via Zoom and House Public Information Services.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Rep. Xiong moved that the minutes from February 24, 2022 be approved. Motion prevailed.

HF 2669 (Rep. Morrison) – Independent School District #112 lease levy authorization for a transportation hub.

Rep. Youakim moved that HF 2669 be presented before the committee; be laid over for further consideration and possible inclusion in a future omnibus bill.

Rep. Morrison presented HF 2669.

Rep. Youakim renews her motion to lay over HF 2669 for possible inclusion or for further consideration at a later date.


HF 2117 (Rep. Hanson) – Independent School District #191 fund transfer authorization.

Rep. Marquart moved that HF 2117 be presented before the committee; be laid over for further consideration and possible inclusion in a future omnibus bill.

Rep. Hanson presented HF 2117.

Rep. Marquart renews his motion to lay over HF 2117 for possible inclusion or for further consideration at a later date.
