Environment and Natural Resources Finance and Policy

MINUTES

Representative Hansen, Chair of the Environment and Natural Resources Finance and Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 10:00 A.M. on October 27th, 2021, pursuant to House rule 10.01. The meeting was conducted over Zoom and broadcast via House Public Information Services, Facebook Live, and YouTube live streaming.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Chair Hansen called the meeting to order at 10:00 A.M. A quorum was present.

A presentation was given presenting updates on the work of the Department of Natural Resources on Chronic Wasting Disease (CWD).

Bob Meier, Assistant Commissioner DNR

An update was presented by the Board of Animal Health on work regarding CWD.

An update was presented by the DNR on Emerald Ash Borer (EAB)

An update was presented by the MN Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) on Local Government Water Infrastructure Grants
