MINUTES

Representative Hansen, Chair of the Environment and Natural Resources Finance and Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 8:30 A.M. on April 19th, 2021, pursuant to House rule 10.01. The meeting was conducted over Zoom and broadcast via House Public Information Services, Facebook Live, and YouTube live streaming.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Chair Hansen called the meeting to order at 8:30 A.M. A quorum was present.

Rep. Lippert moved that the minutes from April 12th, 2021 be approved. MOTION PREVAILED.

A presentation was given presenting updates on the work of the University of Minnesota Prion Research and Outreach on Chronic Wasting Disease (CWD).

Presenters:
Dr. Peter Larsen, Director of UMN Prion Research and Outreach

An update was presented by the Department of Natural Resources on work regarding CWD.

Presenters:
Dave Ofelt, Director Fish and Wildlife Division DNR

Rep. Hansen adjourned the meeting 9:00 A.M.
