Representative Jamie Long, Chair of the Committee on Climate and Energy Finance and Policy, called the virtual meeting to order at 10:30 AM on February 25th, 2021 pursuant to House rule 10.01. The meeting was broadcast via Zoom and House Public Information Services.

Representative Acomb presented HF 0751, A bill for an act relating to energy; establishing beneficial building electrification goals to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and improve public health; proposing coding for new law in Minnesota Statutes, chapter 216B.
Representative Acomb moved that HF 0751 be laid over for possible inclusion in an omnibus bill.
Representative Acomb moved the HF0751A2 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Acomb presented HF 1256, A bill for an act relating to energy; establishing the Minnesota efficient technology accelerator to benefit Minnesota utility consumers by accelerating deployment and reducing the cost of emerging and innovative efficient technologies; amending Minnesota Statutes 2020, section 216B.241, by adding a subdivision.
Representative Acomb moved that HF 1256 be laid over for possible inclusion in an omnibus bill.
Representative Acomb moved the HF1256DE3 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
