CLIMATE AND ENERGY FINANCE AND POLICY MINUTES
Representative Jamie Long, Chair of the Committee on Climate and Energy Finance and Policy, called the virtual meeting to order at 10:30 AM on February 24th, 2022 pursuant to House rule 10.01. The meeting was broadcast via Zoom and House Public Information Services.

Vice Chair Acomb moved that the minutes of February 10th, 15th, 17th, and 22nd, 2022, be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Long handed the gavel to Representative Acomb at 10:48am.
Representative Long presented House Research BE159, a bill for an act relating to energy; requiring owners of certain buildings to enter energy use data into a benchmarking tool; requiring public disclosure of energy use data; providing grants; appropriating money; proposing coding for new law in Minnesota Statutes, chapter 216C.

Representative Long moved that HF831 be laid over for possible inclusion.
Representative Long moved the HF831DE3 amendment, THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
