CLIMATE AND ENERGY FINANCE AND POLICY MINUTES

Representative Jamie Long, Chair of the Committee on Climate and Energy Finance and Policy, called the virtual meeting to order at 10:30 AM on May 5th, 2021 pursuant to House rule 10.01. The meeting was broadcast via Zoom and House Public Information Services.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Vice Chair Acomb moved that the minutes of March 25th, March 26th, and April 6th, 2021, be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Bierman presented SF1018, a bill for an act relating to energy; creating the 2021 polar vortex loan account; eliminating the sunset for recovery of gas utility infrastructure costs; appropriating money; repealing Laws 2005, chapter 97, article 10, section 3, as amended.

Representative Bierman moved that SF1018 be rereferred to the committee on Ways and Means.

THE MOTION PREVAILED.

The meeting was adjourned at 9:39 AM.
