STATE GOVERNMENT FINANCE & ELECTIONS COMMITTEE MINUTES

Representative Michael V. Nelson, Chair of the Committee, called the virtual State Government Finance & Elections Committee meeting to order at 8:30 AM, January 21, 2021 pursuant to House rule 10.01. The meeting was conducted over Zoom and broadcast via House Public Information Services and Facebook Live.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

Representative Klevorn moved that the minutes from the committee meeting on January 19, 2021 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Chair Nelson referred a bill to the Local Government Division by memo of January 19, 2021.

The following gave an overview of the Minnesota State Board of Investments:
Mansco Perry, Executive Director and Chief Investment Officer

The following gave an overview of the Legislative Commission on Pensions & Retirement:
Susan Lenczewski, Executive Director
Chad Burkitt, Analyst
