STATE GOVERNMENT FINANCE & ELECTIONS COMMITTEE MINUTES
Representative Michael V. Nelson, Chair of the Committee, called the virtual State Government Finance & Elections Committee meeting to order at 8:31 AM, March 18, 2022 pursuant to House rule 10.01. The meeting was conducted over Zoom and broadcast via House Public Information Services.

Representative Carlson moved that the minutes for March 17, 2022, be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Chair Nelson moved HF4125.
Chair Nelson presented HF4125, state government financing; constitutional offices, state agencies, and Veterans Affairs funding provided; data practice provisions modified; Office of Enterprise Translation and language access service account established; burial grounds and cemetery governing provisions modified; Veterans Service Organization grant program established; and money appropriated.

Representative Hanson presented HF3845, Office of the Foster Youth Ombudsperson and Board of the Foster Youth Ombudsperson established, Office of the Foster Youth Ombudsperson and Board of the Foster Youth Ombudsperson funding provided, and money appropriated.

Chair Nelson moved Amendment H3780A1. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
Representative Lee presented HF3780, as amended, Minnesota Management and Budget funding provided to increase the agency's capacity to assist groups and organizations with the capital budget process and coordinate with state agencies regarding the administration of capital project appropriations and programs, and money appropriated.
