LOCAL GOVERNMENT DIVISION MINUTES

Representative Sandra Masin, Chair of the Division on Local Government called the virtual meeting to order at 8:38 AM on January 27, 2021 pursuant to House rule 10.01. The meeting was broadcast via Zoom and House Public Information Services.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll:

Vice Chair Elkins moved that the minutes of January 20, 2021 be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Vice Chair Elkins moved that HF 35 be re-referred to the Committee on State Government Finance and Elections.

Vice Chair Elkins moved the HF35DE1 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Vice Chair Elkins presented HF 35 as amended, a bill for an act relating to state government; establishing a Website Accessibility Grant Advisory Council established, and money appropriated for grants to cities and counties to improve website accessibility.

Testifying on HF 35:

Vice Chair Elkins renewed the motion that HF 35 as amended be re-referred to the Committee on State Government Finance and Elections.
