HEALTH FINANCE AND POLICY COMMITTEE

MINUTES

Representative Tina Liebling, Chair of the Division, called the virtual Health Finance and Policy Committee meeting to order at 1:00 P.M. on January 11, 2021 pursuant to House rule 10.01. The meeting is being broadcast via Zoom and House Public Information Services.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

Chair Liebling, Representative Freiberg and Representative Morrison spoke in remembrance of Erick Dick, Minnesota Medical Association, who recently passed away. Chair Liebling requested a moment of silence.

Health Finance and Policy Committee Members and staff introduced themselves.

Randall Chun, Sarah Sunderman and Elisabeth Klarqvist, from the House Research Department, presented an overview of the committee jurisdiction.

The meeting was adjourned at 2:30 P.M.
