MINUTES
Representative Tina Liebling, Chair of the Committee, called the virtual Health Finance and Policy Committee meeting to order at 3:00 P.M. on March 30, 2022 pursuant to House rule 10.01. The meeting is being broadcast via Zoom and House Public Information Services.

Representative Wolgamott moved that the minutes of March 25, 2022 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF3898 (Jordan) Elevated blood lead concentration level lowered from ten micrograms of lead to 3.5 micrograms.
Chair Liebling moved that HF3898 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Health Finance and Policy Committee bill.
Representative Jordan presented her bill.
Testifying:
1. Dr. Zeke McKinney, Program Director, Occupational and Environmental Medicine Residency Program and Affiliate Assistant Professor, University of Minnesota School of Public Health, and Clinical Investigator, HealthPartners Institute.
Dr. Stephanie Yendell, Senior Epidemiology Supervisor, Health Risk Intervention Unit, Minnesota Department of Health, responded to member questions.
Chair Liebling laid over HF3898 for possible inclusion in the Committee bill.
HF4115 (Jordan) Lead drinking water service line replacement grant established, lead service line mapping grant established, funding provided, and money appropriated.
Chair Liebling moved that HF4115 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Committee on Capital Investment.
Chair Liebling moved the H4115DE1-1 Amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
Representative Jordan presented her bill as amended.

Vice Chair Huot moved the A22-0396 Amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
Vice Chair Huot presented his bill as amended.
