MINUTES


Representative Peter Fischer, Chair of the Behavioral Health Policy Division, and pursuant to House rule 10.01, called the remote meeting to order at 8:30 am on Wednesday, January 13, 2021. The meeting was broadcast live via Zoom and House Public Information Services.

The Committee Legislative Assistant took the roll.

A quorum was present.

Members and staff provided introductions.

Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) gave an overview presentation on Minnesota’s Behavioral Health System. Presenters included the following:

Kristy Graume, Legislative Director for Community Supports, DHS
Sue Abderholden, Executive Director, NAMI Minnesota
Paul Fleissner, Behavioral Health Division Director, DHS
Neerja Singh, Behavioral Health Clinical Director, DHS


The meeting was adjourned at 10:00 am.
