COMMITTEE MINUTES
Representative Shelly Christensen, Vice Chair of the Higher Education Finance and Policy Division, called the virtual committee meeting to order at 3:00 P.M. on Wednesday March 17, 2021 pursuant to House rule 10.01. The meeting was broadcast via Zoom and House Public Information Services.

Representative Albright moved to approve the minutes from March 16, 2021. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
HF 1972 (Howard) - Office of Higher Education competitive grant to organizations providing vocational and life skills training to young adults with learning difficulties funding provided, report required, and money appropriated.
Representative Howard moved that HF 1972 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Higher Education Finance Omnibus bill.
Representative Howard presented HF 1972 to the committee.

Representative Howard moved that HF 1517 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Higher Education Finance Omnibus bill.

HF 81 (Quam) - Board of Regents of the University of Minnesota requested to establish pharmacogenomics (PGx) task force, report required, and money appropriated.
Chair Bernardy moved that HF 81 be referred to the Health Finance & Policy Committee.
Chair Bernardy moved to adopt the A21 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
Representative Quam presented HF 81 to the committee.
