COMMITTEE MINUTES

Representative Connie Bernardy, Chair of the Higher Education Finance and Policy Committee, called the virtual committee meeting to order at 3:00 P.M. on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 pursuant to House rule 10.01. The meeting was broadcast via Zoom and House Public Information Services.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

HF 993 (Bernardy) - Office of Higher Education, Minnesota State Colleges and Universities, University of Minnesota, and the Mayo Clinic funding and policy changes provided; student aid programs modified; direct admission pilot program created; reports required; and money appropriated.

Nathan Hopkins, House Research & Ken Savary, House Fiscal Analysis walked through the DE amendment for the committee.
