Minutes

Representative Rob Ecklund, Chair of the Committee on Labor, Industry, Veterans and Military Affairs Finance & Policy, called the virtual meeting to order at 3:00 PM on February 24, 2021, pursuant to House rule 10.01. The meeting was broadcast via Zoom and House Public Information Services.

Representative Nelson assumed the Chair at 3:00 P.M.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Bliss moved that the minutes from February 23, 2021 be adopted. Motion prevailed.

HF 792 (Winkler) Veterans resilience project grant funding provided, report required, and money appropriated.

The Chair moved that HF 792 be laid over for possible inclusion in an omnibus bill.

Representative Winkler presented the bill.

The Chair renewed his motion that HF 792 be laid over for possible inclusion in an omnibus bill.

HF 300 (Huot) Capitol flag program established for families of military service members and first responders who die in the line of duty, and Capitol flag program study and pilot program provided.

The Chair moved that HF 300 be referred to the general register.

The Chair moved the A1 amendment. Motion prevailed.

Representative Ecklund assumed the Chair at 3:55 P.M.

Representative Huot presented the bill as amended.

The Chair moved the A1 amendment. Motion prevailed.

Representative Huot presented the bill as amended.
