MINUTES

Representative Noor, Chair of the Workforce and Business Development Finance and Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 1:00 P.M. on February 3rd, 2021. The meeting was broadcasted via Zoom and House Public Information Services. A quorum was present.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Hamilton moved to approve the minutes for the February 1st, 2021 meeting. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE MINUTES WERE ADOPTED.

HF 63 (Erickson) Lake Mille Lacs area economic relief program loans forgiven.

Testifiers in regards to HF 63:
Mike Wimmer, Economic Development Manager at Mille Lacs County
Tina Chapman, Executive Director at Mille Lacs Area Tourism Council
Steve Johnson, Chairman of the Eastside Township

Representative Noor laid HF 63 over for possible inclusion in an omnibus bill.

HF 264 (Wolgamott) Centers for independent living funding provided, and money appropriated.
