MINUTES

Representative Noor, Chair of the Workforce and Business Development Finance and Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 1:00 P.M. on March 1st, 2021. The meeting was broadcasted via Zoom and House Public Information Services. A quorum was present.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Greenman moved to approve the minutes for the February 24th, 2021 meeting. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE MINUTES WERE ADOPTED.

HF 1054 (Greenman) Wage credits modified.

Chair Noor laid HF 1054 over for possible inclusion in an omnibus bill.

Vice-Chair Jay Xiong assumed the gavel at 1:50 P.M

HF 1035 (Noor) Unemployment; eligibility appeal determination timeline modified.

Chair Noor moved to amend HF1034 with the DE2 Amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Chair Noor moved to refer HF 1034, as amended, to the Committee on Ways and Means.
