WORKFORCE AND BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT FINANCE AND POLICY

MINUTES

Representative Noor, Chair of the Workforce and Business Development Finance and Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 1:00 P.M. on March 17th, 2021. The meeting was broadcasted via Zoom and House Public Information Services. A quorum was present.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Baker moved to approve the minutes for the March 15th, 2021 meeting. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE MINUTES WERE ADOPTED.

Representative Greenman assumed the gavel at 1:41 P.M.

HF 1630 (Noor) Minnesota investment fund use modified, and report required

Chair Noor moved to amend HF 1630 with the A1 Amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Chair Noor moved to refer HF 1630, as amended, to the Committee on Ways and Means.

HF 389 (Hassan) Women of Color Opportunity Act

Chair Noor moved to amend HF 389 with the DE1 Amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Chair Noor moved to amend HF 1364 with the DE2 Amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Chair Noor laid HF 1364, as amended, over for possible inclusion in an omnibus bill.

HF 2019 (Xiong, T) Nonprofit infrastructure grant program funding provided, and money appropriated.

Chair Noor moved to amend HF 2019 with the A21 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
