JUDICIARY FINANCE AND CIVIL LAW MINUTES

Representative Jamie Becker-Finn, Chair of the Committee on Judiciary Finance and Civil Law, called the virtual meeting to order at 8:30 AM on February 22, 2022 pursuant to House rule 10.01. The meeting was broadcast via Zoom and House Public Information Services.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Frazier moved that the minutes of February 17, 2022 be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Long moved that HF 1156 be recommended to be placed on the General Register.

Representative Fischer presented HF 1156, a bill for an act relating to commerce; providing for digital fair repair; providing penalties; proposing coding for new law in Minnesota Statutes, chapter 325E.
