MINUTES

Representative Winkler, Chair of the Rules and Legislative Administration Committee, called the remote meeting to order at 5:30 P.M. on Monday, January 11, 2021 pursuant to House rule 10.01.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Chair Winkler called the meeting at 5:30 P.M. A quorum was present.
Representative Esther Agbaje moved that the minutes of January 6, 2021, be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
Chair Winkler moved to adopt the Senate Concurrent Resolution No. 3. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
Chair Winkler moved to adopt the 2021 Permanent Rules of the House pursuant to rule 3.33, the Committee on Rules and Legislative Administration designates Thursday, January 14 for adoption of the Permanent Rules of the House and has established a pre-filing requirement for amendments offered to those rules.
Chair Winkler moved to adopt the A04 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
Representative Jim Nash moved to amend A01 amendment with the A08 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Jim Nash moved to adopt the A01 amendment as amended. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Chair Winkler moved to adopt the permanent rules of the House as amended pursuant to rule 3.33, the Committee on Rules and Legislative Administration designates Thursday, January 14 for adoption of the Permanent Rules of the House and has established a pre-filing requirement for amendments offered to those rules. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
