MINUTES
Representative Rena Moran, Chair of the Committee, called the remote Ways and Means Committee meeting to order at 9:00 A.M. on Monday, April 19, 2021, pursuant to House rule 10.01. The meeting was conducted over Zoom and broadcast via House Public Information Services and Facebook Live.

Representative Olson moved to adopt the minutes from Thursday, April 15, 2021. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
HF2360 (Murphy) Department of Corrections claims settlement bill
Chair Moran moved that HF2360 be recommended to be placed on the General Register.
Chair Moran moved to adopt the A21-0173 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
Representative Murphy gave an overview of HF2360, as amended.
Following discussion, Chair Moran renewed the motion that HF2360, as amended, be recommended to be placed on the General Register. A roll call was taken, and the results were as follows:

Representative Marquart moved that HF991 be recommended to be placed on the General Register.
Representative Marquart moved to adopt the H0991A7 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
Tracy Fischman, Assistant Commissioner, Department of Revenue, offered testimony on HF991.
Following discussion, Representative Marquart renewed the motion that HF991, as amended, be recommended to be placed on the General Register, and that nonpartisan staff be directed to make any technical corrections. A roll call was taken, and the results were as follows:
