CAPITAL INVESTMENT COMMITTEE MINUTES

Representative Fue Lee, Chair of the Capital Investment Committee, called the meeting to order at 1:01pm on January 25, 2023 in Room 120 of the Minnesota State Capitol. The meeting was broadcast via House Public Information Services.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Vice-Chair Reyer moved that the minutes from the January 18, 2023 meeting be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 302 (Howard) Eligible use of housing infrastructure bonds added, issuance of housing infrastructure bonds prescribed, bonds issued, and money appropriated.

Chair Lee moved that HF 302 be recommended to be re-referred to the Committee on Housing Finance and Policy.

Chair Lee moved the A1 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Chair Lee renewed the motion that HF 302, as amended, be recommended to be re-referred to the Committee on Housing Finance and Policy as amended. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Committee discussion will be on the provisions under the Capital Investment committee's jurisdiction (Section 3-6). HF 302 was given an informational presentation on Monday, January 23 in the joint hearing with the Housing Finance Committee.
