CLIMATE AND ENERGY FINANCE AND POLICY MINUTES

Representative Patty Acomb, Chair of the Committee on Climate and Energy Finance and Policy, called the meeting to order at 3:00 PM on February 14, 2023 in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Kraft moved that the minutes from February 8, 2023 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 1262 (Hemmingsen-Jaeger); Utility requirements modified, and restrictions on use of residential solar energy systems provided.

Representative Hemmingsen-Jaeger moved that HF 1262 be re-referred to the Committee on Judiciary Finance and Civil Law.

Representative Hemmingsen-Jaeger presented HF 1262.

HF 1062 (Hill); Decommissioning and demolition plan submission required for scheduled retirement of electric generation facility.

Chair Acomb moved that HF 1062 be be laid over.

Chair Acomb moved the DE1 Amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED; THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Hill presented HF 1062 as amended.
