CLIMATE AND ENERGY FINANCE AND POLICY MINUTES

Representative Patty Acomb, Chair of the Committee on Climate and Energy Finance and Policy, called the meeting to order at 3:00 PM on March 14, 2023 in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Kraft moved that the minutes from March 8, 2023 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 1135 (Lee); Research funding provided to integrate weather trends in designing and operating public buildings.

Chair Acomb moved that HF 1135 be re-referred to the Committee on Capital Investment.

Representative Lee presented HF 1135.

Chair Acomb renewed the motion that HF 1135 be re-referred to the Committee on Capital Investment. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 2035 (Bierman); Energy; utilities governing provisions modified.

Representative Bierman moved that HF 2035 be be laid over.

Representative Bierman moved the A1 Amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED; THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Bierman presented HF 2035 as amended.

HF 2169 (Stephenson); Anoka; Rum River Dam repair and replacement studies

Representative Stephenson moved that HF 2169 be laid over.

Representative Stephenson moved the A1 Amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED; THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Stephenson presented HF 2169 as amended.

Representative Stephenson moved that HF 413 be laid over for possible inclusion.

Representative Stephenson moved the A13 Amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED; THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Stephenson presented HF 413 as amended.
