ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT FINANCE & POLICY MINUTES

Representative Hodan Hassan, Chair of the Committee on Economic Development Finance and Policy, called the meeting to order at 10:30 AM on March 20, 2024, in Room 10 of the State Office Building.

Representative Perryman moved that the minutes of March 13, 2024, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 4249 (Lee) Explore Minnesota Film established.

Representative Hassan moved HF 4249 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Economic Development Policy and Finance Committee omnibus bill.

Representative Lee presented HF 4249.

Representative Hassan moved HF 2821 be re-referred to State and Local Government Finance and Policy.

HF 3847 (Hassan) Small business assistance partnerships grant program, Minnesota expanding opportunity fund program, Minnesota emerging entrepreneur program, and community wealth-building grant program pilot project technical changes made.

Representative Hansen moved HF 3847 to be laid over for possible inclusion in the Economic Development Policy and Finance omnibus bill.

Representative Hassan moved the H3847A1 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
