ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT FINANCE & POLICY MINUTES

Representative Hodan Hassan, Chair of the Committee on Economic Development Finance and Policy, called the meeting to order at 10:32 AM on February 15, 2023 in Room 10 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

Representative Koznick moved that the minutes of February 8, 2023, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 504 (Hanson) Small business partnership program codified, reports required, and money appropriated.

Representative Hassan moved to lay over HF 504 for possible inclusion in the Economic Development Finance and Policy Committee omnibus bill.

Representative Hassan renewed the motion to lay over HF 504 for possible inclusion in the Economic Development Finance and Policy Committee Omnibus bill. The bill was laid over.

HF 1180 (Brand) Greater Minnesota care facility program funding provided, and money appropriated.

Representative Hassan moved to lay over HF 1180 for possible inclusion in the Economic Development Finance and Policy Committee Omnibus bill.

Representative Hassan renewed the motion to lay over HF 1180 for possible inclusion in the Economic Development Finance and Policy Committee Omnibus bill. The bill was laid over.

HF 1074 (Brand) Minnesota Initiative Foundations funding provided, and money appropriated.

Representative Hassan moved to refer HF 1074 to the Committee on Children and Families Finance and Policy.
