Representative Sydney Jordan, Vice Chair of the Environment and Natural Resources Finance and Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 8:30 A.M. on March 22, 2024, in Room 5 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Pursell moved to approve the revised minutes from March 12, 2024. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Gillman moved to approve the revised minutes from March 13, 2024. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Finke moved to approve the revised minutes from March 19, 2024. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Pursell moved to approve the minutes from March 20, 2024. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF4978 (Hansen, R.); Lions Levee Park pedestrian bridge funding provided, and money appropriated.

Chair Hansen moved that HF4978 be re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means.

Chair Hansen presented HF4978.

Chair Hansen renewed the motion that HF4978 be re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

SF2904 (Hansen, R.); Environment and Natural Resources Policy Bill.

Chair Hansen moved that SF2904 be re-referred to the General Register.

Chair Hansen moved to adopt the DE3 amendment.

Chair Hansen moved to adopt the A1 amendment to the DE3 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT TO THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Chair Hansen renewed the motion to adopt the DE3 amendment, as amended. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Chair Hansen presented SF2904, as amended.

Testifying on the bill:
• John Jaschke, Executive Director, Minnesota Board of Water and Soil Resources

Chair Hansen renewed the motion that SF2904, as amended, be re-referred to the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
