FINANCE AND POLICY MINUTES

Representative Hansen, Chair of the Environment and Natural Resources Finance and Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 3:00 P.M. on Tuesday, February 28, 2023, in Room 10 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

Representative Skraba moved to approve the minutes from Tuesday, February 21, 2023. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF1335 (Edelson); Water pollution notification requirement modified.

Representative Edelson moved that HF1335 be re-referred to the General Register.

Representative Edelson presented HF1335.

Testifying on the bill:
• Dana Vanderbosch, Assistant Commissioner, Minnesota Pollution Control Agency
• Craig Johnson, Lobbyist, League of Minnesota Cities

Representative Edelson renewed the motion that HF1335 be re-referred to the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Presentation of the Governor’s Budget Recommendations for the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency.
