Representative Liebling, Chair of the Committee, called the meeting to order at 9:04 A.M. on April 12, 2024 in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Elkins moved that the minutes of April 9, 2024 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF4779 (Hicks) Medical assistance coverage of residential crisis stabilization for children established, and report required.

Chair Liebling moved that HF4779 be laid over for possible inclusion in a committee omnibus bill.

Representative Hicks presented her bill.

HF4713 (Curran) Commissioner of labor and industry required to adopt rules related to acceptable blood lead levels for workers.

Chair Liebling moved that HF4713 be laid over for possible inclusion in a committee omnibus bill.

HF3902 (Bahner) Medical assistance dispensing fee increased.

Representative Bahner moved that HF3902 be laid over for possible inclusion in a committee omnibus bill.

HF3495 (Fischer) FIRST ENGROSSMENT Mental and behavioral health care provisions modified including service standards, adult and child mental health services grants, substance use disorder services, supportive housing, and provider certification and reimbursement; reports required; and money appropriated.

Chair Liebling moved that HF3495, First Engrossment, be laid over for possible inclusion in a committee omnibus bill.

Chair Liebling moved the H3495A8 Amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADPOPTED.

Representative Frederick presented the bill as amended.
