MINUTES
Representative Liebling, Chair of the Committee, called the meeting to order at 10:31 A.M. on February 28, 2023 in Room 5 of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Bierman moved that the minutes of February 21, 2023 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
HF91 (Liebling) SECOND ENGROSSMENT Abortion regulating statutes repealed, sex offenses repealed, statutes governing the sale of articles and information and prohibiting advertisements repealed, limitation removed on performance of abortions at birth centers, language stricken regarding medical assistance coverage of abortion, limitation removed on MinnesotaCare coverage of abortion, and conforming changes made.
Chair Liebling moved that HF91, Second Engrossment, be re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means.
Joe Harney, House Fiscal Analyst, explained the completed fiscal note.
Chair Liebling renewed her motion that HF91, Second Engrossment, be re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means.

On a vote of 11 AYES and 8 NAYS THE MOTION PREVAILED and HF91, Second Engrossment, was re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means.
HF898 (Bierman) Medical assistance coverage expanded for adult dental services.
Vice Chair Bierman moved that HF898 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Health Finance and Policy Committee bill.
Vice Chair Bierman moved the H0898A1 Amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
Vice Chair Bierman presented his bill as amended.

Representative Reyer moved the H1541A1 Amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

HF1814 (Reyer) Commissioner of human services required to establish dental home pilot project, project criteria specified, report required, and money appropriated.
