HIGHER EDUCATION FINANCE AND POLICY COMMITTEE MINUTES

Representative Gene Pelowski, Chair of the Higher Education Finance and Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 10:30 AM on March 14th, 2024, in Room 10 of the State Office Building.

The clerk noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

HF 4024 (Pelowski) Policy and technical changes made to higher education provisions including student sexual misconduct, student aid, and institutional licensure provisions; reports required; and rulemaking required.

Representative Pelowski brought HF 4024 before the committee.

Representative Pelowski moved the H4024A1 amendment to HF 4024. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

The committee concluded discussion on HF 4024 and the bill was kept in possession of the committee.
