HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES NINETY-THIRD SESSION
HIGHER EDUCATION FINANCE AND POLICY COMMITTEE MINUTES
Representative Gene Pelowski, Chair of the Higher Education Finance and Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 10:30 AM on March 23, 2023, in Room 10 of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.
Representative Wolgamott moved that the minutes from March 21, 2023 be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
HF 2842 (Wolgamott) Workforce development provisions modified, Board of Trustees of Minnesota State Colleges and Universities for workforce development funding provided, and money appropriated.
Chair Pelowski brought HF 2842 before the committee.

The committee concluded discussion on HF 2842 and the bill was kept in possession of the committee.
HF 2987 (Hanson) Minnesota State Colleges and Universities Board of Trustees funding provided, and money appropriated.
Chair Pelowski brought HF 2987 before the committee.

The committee concluded discussion on HF 2987 and the bill was kept in possession of the committee.
HF 20 (Greenman) Wage credits modified and reimbursement provided, general fund transfer authorized, unemployment insurance aid provided, report required, and money appropriated.
Chair Pelowski moved that HF 20 be re-referred to the Ways and Means Committee.
Chair Pelowski moved the H0020A18 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
