HUMAN SERVICES POLICY COMMITTEE MINUTES

Representative Peter Fischer, Chair of the Committee on Human Services Policy called the meeting to order at 1:00 pm on Monday, March 4, 2024 in room 200 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Curran moved to approve the minutes from February 28. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF3941 (Curran) Home and community-based services standards modified

Rep. Curran moved to refer HF 3941 to the Human Services Finance Committee.

Rep. Curran moved the A1 Authors Amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Rep. Curran presented the bill, as amended.

Testifying on HF 3941, as amended:

• Stacy Roe, President of ARRM Board of Directors and Vice President of Services at Mains'l

Rep. Curran renewed the motion to refer HF 3941, as amended, to the Human Services Finance Committee. THE MOTION PREVAILED.


HF3743 (Edelson) Community support services program standards modified, various behavioral health provisions modified, protected transport start-up grants and engagement services pilot grants established, formula-based allocation for mental health grant services recommendations required, and money appropriated.

Rep. Edelson moved to lay over HF 3743 for possible inclusion.

Rep. Edelson presented the bill.

Chair Fischer moved to refer HF 4203 to the Human Services Finance Committee.

Rep. Pryor presented the bill.
