HUMAN SERVICES POLICY COMMITTEE MINUTES

Representative Peter Fischer, Chair of the Committee on Human Services Policy, called the meeting to order at 1:00 PM on February 15, 2023, in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

Representative Novotny moved to approve the minutes from February 13, 2023. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 1486 (Frederick) Supervised practice of alcohol and drug counseling by former students for limited time allowed, HIV training requirements modified in substance use disorder treatment programs, withdrawal management license requirements modified, and substance use disorder treatment client record documentation requirements modified.

Vice Chair Frederick moved that HF 1486 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Health Finance and Policy Committee.

Vice Chair Frederick presented H1486A1. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Vice Chair Frederick presented HF 1486 as amended.
