Representative Peter Fischer, Chair of the Committee on Human Services Policy, called the meeting to order at 1:00 PM on March 6, 2023, in Room 200 of the State Office Building.?

Representative Novotny moved to approve the minutes from March 1, 2023. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 2284 (Finke) Provisions modified regarding Minnesota residents admitted to adjacent-state mental health facilities.

Representative Finke moved that HF 2284 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the General Register.

Representative Finke presented HF 2284.

Chair Fischer moved that HF 2008 be recommended to pass and re-referred to Children and Families Finance and Policy Committee.

Chair Fischer moved the A1 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
