EDUCATION FINANCE COMMITTEE MINUTES

Representative Cheryl Youakim, Chair of the Education Finance Committee, called the meeting to order at 10:31 AM on March 16, 2023, in Room 120 of the Capitol Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistance noted the roll.

Representative Sencer-Mura moved that the minutes from March 15, 2023, be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 345 (Hussein) Education outcome and accountability improvement pilot program established, reports required, and money appropriated.

Representative Pryor moved HF 345 before the committee.

HF 1963 (Becker-Finn) School district’s American Indian education aid authorized to catty forward from one school year to the next under circumstances.

Vice Chair Clardy moved the A2 amendment before the committee. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
